We are not just a team of co-workers forging ahead for one like-minded mission....we are a village of youth advocates on a quest, a fantastic journey to inspire and motivate as many youth as possible to excellence, and that means we are inspiring and motivating ourselves and each other to excellence. After all, the youth generation is our future. They will be making decisions for us in the near future and when we are old and gray wondering what is going on with Medicare and Social Security. We need our youth so that means we have to support them every step of the way on their journey to adulthood. We also open our doors to add youth ages 16-24 to join our team because their voices are important to their peers as well and they need to support each other and lift each other up. Climbing & Connecting Colors
As you already know the rainbow we see in the sky after the rain consists of nine carefully crafted and designated colors (red, orange, green, blue, yellow, indigo, violet, pink, and tan). These colors represent all personalities and characteristics of God and if we are made in the image of God then we are a part of the rainbow. The rainbow in the sky is like God appearing in the sky as a visible manifestation of every personality expressing every part of God's make-up, speaking and encouraging every part of our make-up. That rainbow symbol lets us know we will be alright and that means there isn't anything we cannot handle.
Therefore, we need to convey this message to our youth generation so they can remember who they are, where they came from and how special and important their presence is on this planet. So....we climb and connect each color as we express who we are, what we are about and the messages we want the world to hear. And then, we teach this to our youth generation, and handle them with care...climbing and connecting....

For six months we choose one youth between the ages of 13-24 to reign as our Face of RUPYS to represent our harmony, our love, our mission, our values, vision and goals and to represent their peers and generation as our most excellent youth.
